English-study Experience

English is an international language but too difficult to learn to different-culture people. There are thousands of words we should remember, and too many complex grammars to be applicated. Fortunatelly, I live in Edinburgh now, and have more opportunities to learn English, and I'd like to record the process of learning English and collect some good english passage in different situations...

Worry on Reading

Without any worry in writing now, I am so disappointed in my reading mock test this morning, I spent nearly half an hour on passage1 and 25 minutes on passage 2, so the time on the last passage is only 5 minutes available to me, that’s impossible to get a grade. Recently I got an email from the university which requires me to get a minimum 6.5 on overall score and no less than 6.0 in every parts of Ielts exams. The nearer it comes to me, the less impossible to me I felt. Very terrible sign!

I remember clearly the situation in the real test room. I took the exam one year ago, and in the first 3rd parts I felt very nervous and couldn’t help having at that time. I felt terrible on reading last time, but the result looked not bad, that I got 5.5 score. I really hope I can get at least 6.0 grade at this time, even though I am not on the statue now.
